Yes, in the "Constant On Mode", the light will stay on at a 30% brightness throughout the night. In the "Dim-to-Bright Mode" it stays 30% brightness and switches to full brightness when motion is detected, conserving power while providing continuous visibility.

How do I change the lighting mode?

There is a small button or pinhole switch on the lamp body. You press the button to cycle through the 5 different lighting modes. We recommend checking the manual for the exact location of the switch.

How effective is the motion sensor?

The PIR motion sensor is highly effective, featuring a wide detection angle and a sensing distance of up to 5-8 meters (16-26 feet). This makes it excellent for security purposes and illuminating pathways quickly.

Is the light truly waterproof and suitable for heavy rain or snow?

Yes, the light has an IP65 Waterproof Rating. This means it is fully protected from low-pressure water jets from any direction and is designed to withstand normal outdoor weather conditions, including heavy rain, snow, and extreme heat.

Installation in a shaded spot will severely limit the battery charge, resulting in dim lighting or a very short operating time at night. For optimal performance, always choose a location that maximizes direct sun exposure throughout the day.

Will this solar light work effectively on very cloudy days?

Yes, the light will still function, but performance will be reduced. Solar lights charge based on light intensity, not heat. Our highly efficient panels (up to 23% conversion) can still charge on cloudy days, albeit at a slower rate.
