Solar Tree Light Placement and Setup

Use this guide to position the NoxLumin adjustable solar tree spotlight for tree trunks, statues and other landscape accents. The light uses an integrated solar panel, rechargeable battery and ground stake, so no power cable or cable trench is needed.

1. Find a Sunny Position

Choose suitable soil where the integrated panel receives direct sunlight. Allow approximately 6–8 hours in direct sun for charging. Shade, season and weather affect charging and runtime. Because the panel is integrated with the lamp, check sun exposure again after changing the aim.

2. Install the Ground Stake

Follow the included assembly instructions. Insert the stake carefully into suitable soil, avoiding roots and buried services. Keep the lamp and solar panel above ground; do not force the fixture into hard soil or place it where standing water collects.

3. Aim and Adjust After Dark

Point the lamp toward your chosen feature, then adjust the beam from 5° to 90°. A narrow beam concentrates the light; a wider beam spreads it across a shorter, wider target. The focused setting can reach up to 33 ft (10 m). Test placement after dark and keep the beam away from neighbors' windows and direct eye level.

4. Choose the Output Mode

Select High or Medium and leave the light switched on for dusk-to-dawn operation. Runtime is 8+ hours after a full charge, with actual duration affected by mode, sunlight, season, weather, shade and battery condition.

Know the Limits

Each fixture provides 180 lumens for accent uplighting. IP54 means resistance to limited dust ingress and splashing water; it is not submersible. Use appropriate separate lighting for security, tasks or code-required routes.
